Senior Principal IT Architect - Supply Chain & Manufacturing

Medtronic Inc

Medtronic seeks a Senior Principal IT Architect to lead enterprise architecture strategy for Supply Chain and Manufacturing. The role defines target architecture, governs technology investments, and enables digital transformation across business capabilities, applications, data, and operational technologies.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain Supply Chain and Manufacturing target architecture, capability models, and multi-year technology roadmap
Govern application portfolio to reduce technical debt, rationalize legacy platforms, and optimize total cost of ownership
Architect end-to-end data, integration, and digital thread capabilities across CRM, ERP, WMS, and MES systems
Lead architecture strategy for supply chain planning, S&OP, logistics, warehouse operations, and external partner integrations
Present architectural recommendations, roadmaps, and governance outcomes to senior leadership and Architecture Review Board

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree and 8+ years
Proven experience developing enterprise, solution, or technology architecture strategies and roadmaps
Background supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or related business domains
Experience with enterprise data, integration, and application architecture in complex technology landscapes
Demonstrated fluency using artificial intelligence tools, including generative AI
