INTERNAL Staffing Specialist / Recruiter

Starting Pay: $16–$18/hour based on experience (WITH RAISES and BOUNSES)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No Weekends | Paid Holidays | PTO/Vacation | Bonuses | Performance Raises | Growth Opportunities

LaborMax Staffing is looking for a confident, outgoing, and highly organized Staffing Specialist to join our Downtown Marion team.

We are a high-volume recruiting office , so this is not a quiet desk job! You'll work directly with job seekers and our clients while helping keep the recruiting and staffing process moving. You should be comfortable talking to people, picking up the phone, handling multiple priorities, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Recruit and screen candidates for multiple job openings
• Conduct in-person and virtual interviews
• Make outbound recruiting and cold calls
• Leave voicemails and consistently follow up
• Communicate professionally with candidates, employees, and clients
• Assist clients with staffing needs and provide updates regarding their workforce
• Assist candidates through applications, onboarding, and new-hire paperwork
• Administer pre-employment drug screenings
• Handle private candidate, employee, and client information with strict confidentiality
• Maintain accurate records and organized candidate files
• Manage multiple job openings, candidates, and client needs at the same time
• Work closely with the team to meet recruiting and placement goals
• Take on additional responsibilities as you complete training and certifications
  

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Confident speaking with both job seekers and business clients
• Comfortable making cold calls and handling a high volume of phone communication
• Comfortable conducting in-person and virtual interviews
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume office
• Professional and trustworthy when handling confidential information
• Comfortable administering drug screenings
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  

Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, customer service, office administration, or high-volume phone work is a plus. We're also willing to consider someone with the right personality, confidence, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
