Salary Expectations: $32.18/hour - $49.88/hour

The primary responsibility of the Echocardiogram Technologist is:

Performs all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures.

• Edits tracings.
• Makes measurements and enters data into the computer.
• Distinguishes between normal and abnormal cardiac findings.
• Performs cardiac sonographer duties to meet departmental needs, including recognizing arrhythmias and the implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to obtain optimal studies.

• Minimum - Associates Degree from accredited cardiac ultrasound program or RDCS/RCS eligible background with 1 year of cardiac echo experience. - [REQUIRED]
• Certified through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echocardiography. - [REQUIRED][DOCUMENT]
