This position supports the Medical Marijuana Program by reviewing business needs and guiding technology solutions that improve program operations. It ensures that systems, processes, and documentation remain accurate, secure, and effective. As a Business Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:

• System Analysis: Evaluate program workflows, data needs, and IT solutions to improve performance
• System Oversight: Monitor daily system activity, coordinate with vendors, and ensure compliance with service agreements
• Documentation Review: Maintain requirements, review regulations, and update system documentation for clarity and accuracy
• Testing Support: Conduct software testing, document results, and assist in resolving defects with IT vendors
• Quality Monitoring: Analyze security roles, operating procedures, and system processes to recommend improvements
• Project Coordination: Support IT projects by reviewing plans, tracking progress, and preparing change requests and reports

Limited-term, full-time employment (37.5 hours per week). Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
