Asset Management Analyst - Transportation

Essential Functions Assist with asset management tasks, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations and best practices (e.g., ISO 55000 series standards and IAM). Contribute to the development and execution of asset management strategies for civil and transportation infrastructure. Provide technical guidance on best practices and technologies in asset management. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with both internal and external experts to advance asset management initiatives. Document and assess the current state of asset management programs. Participate in process improvement initiatives, including documentation, analysis, and design of business processes. Apply best practices in developing key performance indicators and conducting risk analyses, life‑cycle cost analyses, and technical studies. Support the evaluation and implementation of technological solutions for asset management, such as GIS and predictive maintenance models. Assist in developing state‑of‑good repair decision support tools. Create reports and deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations to clients. Monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules for quality assurance and compliance. Required Skills, Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Finance, Economics, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in asset management for transportation or civil infrastructure. Experience with various asset management processes, including business improvement, lifecycle management, and data analysis. Solid technical knowledge of asset management tools and practices. Familiarity with advanced asset management principles aligned with IAM and other standards. Understanding of federal and state regulations regarding asset management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Skills and Experience Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license, or AICP certification. Certification in Asset Management (e.g., IAM or similar).
