Job Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Claremore, OK 74019 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Shift: Description: A CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to manufacture precision parts and components according to specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Load materials and tools, make machine adjustments, and perform tool changes as needed.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor machine or production issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Accurately document production and quality records.
- Experience operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of machining tools, materials, and measurement techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
