MKEC is looking for a CAD Technician to join our team at our Overland Park location. This position will assist project engineers and designers with preparation of construction plans for land development and municipal projects. Responsibilities: Provide drafting support to engineers and designers of land development and municipal related projects. Create drawings with input from designers and engineers. Incorporate red line changes in existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers. Projects may include site planning, grading, streets, water, wastewater & drainage. Assist project team in meeting client expectations and schedules. Attention to details and use of drawing standards. Requirements: Preferred 1-3 years of experience with Autodesk products, preferably Civil 3D. Knowledge of local standards is preferred. Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil3D Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
