CAD Degree\n2 to 3 years professionally working within AutoCAD (2D Design) Nice to Have Skills & Experience PLS-CADD\nOverhead (Underground) Transmission specific project experience Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a CAD Technician to add to their Overhead Transmission group. This is a growing team, and is seeking an eager individual to start as a CAD Technician to eventually advance to a Designer with room for growth from there. \n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.\nResponsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.\nResponsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline. \nAssist in drafting design and documentation for various projects. \nAssist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.\nAssist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.\nResearch solutions to project concerns and present solutions to design problems. \nAssist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.Vacancy posted 1 day ago
