Immediately Hiring Quality Control InspectorInterview now and seeking to hire in the Delaware County area for a full time job opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector verifies that products meet all specifications, controls costs through accurate inspection and rework, and promotes customer satisfaction by ensuring quality, appearance, and performance compliance for work in process and finished goods. This role focuses on inspecting cushions and small metal assemblies, performing first-piece inspections, and communicating with internal stakeholders to maintain up-to-date standards and documentation. This is a long term opportunity, offering weekly pay.ResponsibilitiesInspect hair cushions, foam cushions, and small metal parts to ensure they meet all quality, appearance, and performance specifications.Use inspection templates, tape measures, and other measuring tools to confirm that cushions and components are within specified tolerances.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and standards to verify compliance during inspection.Make informed decisions regarding product appearance and performance to determine compliance with drawings and quality standards.Perform quality inspections on work in process and finished goods, documenting results accurately.Rework products as needed to bring them into compliance with specifications.Notify customers when shipments are available for pickup, as needed.Assist with maintaining accurate raw material and finished goods inventory counts.Communicate with Engineering to ensure the most recent blueprint revisions and engineering change orders are used for inspection.Request modifications to work tooling when needed to meet blueprint specifications.Perform first-piece inspections and interpret quality assurance provisions according to contract requirements.Enter inspection and quality data into Excel spreadsheets and Word documents accurately and in a timely manner.Follow all safety rules and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.Support general manufacturing and quality control activities as required.Work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring all assigned inspection work is completed within required timelines.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of Chester, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00/hr.
