In this role, you will help keep our communities running smoothly by handling maintenance repairs and contributing to the upkeep of the community, while providing the five-star service that makes Mark-Taylor communities feel like home.

Compensation:

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $33.00.hr - $35.00hr .
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications.***

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily property management is required.
• Strong leadership, organization, and team management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize a high-volume maintenance workload.
• Proven experience overseeing capital improvements, interior renovation projects, and preventative maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, pool operations, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to preserve the community's physical assets by leading maintenance operations, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional resident service.
• One or more industry specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will:

• Serve as the leader for the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee and execute the hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
• Perform consistent inspections, diagnosing problems, and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry walling, appliances, and exterior structures.
• Manage the daily inventory of apartment homes in order to support leasing efforts, including managing the Make-Ready, Turn Board.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazards.
• Share rotating on-call duty with service team members and readily available to go the property after hours if needed and in uniform/badge.
• Complete Weekly Service Report in a timely manner.
• Adhere to Mark-Taylor safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures.
• Participate in training classes.
• Train and mentor Service Technician and Facilities Technicians.
• Keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, inventories, pool chemical logs, make-ready and turn units.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive rapport with all residents and team members.
• Capital project oversight, bidding, and execution.
