As a Security Officer - Full Timet in Elk Grove Village, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. At a leading financial institution location, our Allied Universal officers conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, entry points, lobbies, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and communicate clearly with employees, guests, and/or first responders during routine and unusual situations.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports related to daily activity, incidents, and/or property conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
