What You'll Do
- Provide inpatient pediatric coverage during assigned shifts
- Manage acute pediatric illnesses and monitor patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for patient management
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Respond to after-hours calls and emergent needs as part of call schedule
- Participate in hospital rounds and patient handoff processes
What You Need
- Valid active Medical License in New Mexico
- DEA certification
- Board Certification or BE status in Pediatrics
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
- Minimum 3-5 years post-residency experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
