Territory Manager

Position Details Job Title: Territory Manager (District Executive) Location: St. Louis, Missouri (Mid St. Louis County) Salary: $44,000 base salary, with an additional $10,000 performance incentive bonus available. Job Type: Full-time Council Website: Position Description We are looking for a self-starting, motivated person who excels at building relationships, enjoys sales and marketing, and provides excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, solid time‑management, and the ability to engage diverse audiences. The District Executive manages a designated territory (called a district) consisting of multiple counties or population centers within the Greater St. Louis Area Council’s 63 counties. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Required) US work authorization (Required) Sales experience: 1 year (Preferred) Requirements Must be willing to accept and meet Scouting America's leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license Attain 21 years of age or older (unless prohibited by applicable law) Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends Must currently live, or be willing to relocate to, the boundaries of the service area Ability to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly A scouting background is helpful but not required Strong communication skills, both verbal and written People-oriented, able to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations Non-profit, fundraising, sales, or marketing experience is a plus Offers for employment are subject to criminal, reference, and motor vehicle background checks Benefits Major medical insurance, prescription plan, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability coverage 403(b) retirement plan with matching contribution Phone allowance ($40/month) and business mileage reimbursement Generous PTO: 22 days plus several paid holidays Continuing education and tuition assistance options Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness eligibility Employee assistance program and employee discount Health savings account and vision insurance Parental leave and parental benefits Training Comprehensive professional training opportunities are provided during the first three years of tenure.
