Senior Accountant

Ledgent Accounting & Finance – Tampa, FL (Hybrid or Onsite Options Available) Overview Ledgent Accounting & Finance, a leading staffing and consulting firm specializing in accounting and finance talent, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in the Tampa area. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a meaningful impact. $75,000 - $90,000 Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Support external audits and liaise with auditors Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Mentor junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) CPA or CPA-track preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment What We Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career growth and professional development Access to a strong network of industry-leading clients Supportive and collaborative team environment Hybrid work flexibility (depending on assignment) About Ledgent Accounting & Finance Ledgent Accounting & Finance is part of Roth Staffing Companies, recognized for delivering specialized talent solutions nationwide.
