Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Fri: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. Responsibilities Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting activity through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and tenant spaces while verifying authorized access, following post orders, and addressing policy violations in a professional manner. Support incident response by assisting with de-escalation, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed, and preparing clear, accurate reports on security-related events. Minimum Requirements An armed guard card/license is required. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
