About the Position

Job Title: RN - Post Operations

Location: Everett, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Evening Shifts (10:30–21:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center setting following ASPAN standards
Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
Support same-day surgery, inpatient admissions, and observation patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, thoracic, bariatric, trauma, and more
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed

Required Qualifications:
Active RN license — Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of PACU or pre/post-operative nursing experience
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience with a wide range of surgical specialties including pediatric, cardiovascular, and trauma cases
Familiarity with ASPAN standards and protocols
Prior experience charting in EPIC
