TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Washington!

Job Title: Registered Nurse – PACU (Pre/Post Operative)

Location: Everett, WA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | 8-Week Assignment | 4x10-Hour Evening Shifts (10:30 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:
Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care in accordance with ASPAN standards at a Level II Trauma Center
Care for a diverse patient population including pediatric (1 year and older), adult, and geriatric patients
Support same-day surgery patients, inpatient admissions, and observation patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, cardiovascular, thoracic, bariatric, and trauma, among others
Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of PACU or pre/post-operative nursing experience
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills:
Experience with pediatric surgical patients (ages 1 year and older)
Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical environment
Prior experience charting in EPIC
