Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Experience: ICU Experience Preferred | Telemetry Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a leading healthcare facility in Gardner, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. This role involves caring for critically ill patients, administering complex therapies, monitoring hemodynamic status, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based critical care nursing interventions.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret EKG changes, arterial blood gases, and manage ventilated patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, anticoagulation therapy, thrombolytics, and other critical care treatments safely and accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education.
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
Current AHA BLS Certification required; ACLS required upon hire or obtained within 60 days.
Previous Telemetry Experience required; ICU Experience preferred.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Strong critical thinking, cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, communication, and teamwork skills.
