Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students’ communication and learning in dedicated special education centers near Kalamazoo, MI. Currently seeking a passionate professional to serve as a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll split your week among two locations—three days in one center in Lawrence and two days across two different buildings in Bangor. This in-person position offers a consistent 7.25-hour school day, running from 8:00am to 3:15pm, aligned with the school year through June 4th.

Work alongside a collaborative team of educators and specialists who make a difference daily. You’ll engage directly with students, helping them build vital speech and language skills while navigating unique learning needs in a center-based special education setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current or eligible for CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
• Michigan SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced SLPs
• Pediatric experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong willingness to work fully in-person; virtual service is not an option for this role
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable to the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech/language therapy to students in center-based special education classrooms
• Evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Complete required documentation, IEPs, and progress reports accurately and timely
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
