Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Acute Care, in a travel, temporary assignment located in Juneau, Alaska. Start date: 08/17/2026 for 41 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,425-$2,447 per week. Shift: Days. Work setting: school-based OT in a K-12 environment. This assignment provides 40 hours per week with no guaranteed minimum hours. The contract extends to 06/30/2027 to cover potential additional days as needed; ESY would be a separate contract. Hiring organization: Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as part of individualized education program (IEP), under supervision of a licensed OT
- Implement, monitor, and adjust treatment plans to meet student goals; document progress and outcomes
- Perform ongoing data collection, outcomes tracking, and timely charting in accordance with district policies
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and school-based teams; participate in IEP or meeting discussions as appropriate
- Ensure safe operation of therapy materials and equipment; maintain infection control and safety standards
- Communicate student progress and needs to the multidisciplinary team to support inclusive education

Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to work a 40-hour week in a school setting in Juneau, AK
- Willingness to travel for a 41-week assignment
- Experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work within a school-based program
