Our clinic emphasizes teamwork and collaboration among staff, promoting an open communication style that enhances patient experiences. You can expect a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, along with a steady caseload that allows for meaningful interactions with each patient.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess musculoskeletal conditions, identifying strengths and areas needing improvement.Develop personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring a holistic approach to their recovery.Administer various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to enhance patient mobility and physical functionality.Provide ongoing education to patients regarding their recovery strategies, which includes guidance on injury prevention and promoting long-term wellness practices.Regularly document patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare reporting standards to maintain accurate health information.Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, which includes timely communication about evolution in patient conditions.Patient Population / Client FocusThe patients you will serve primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our home care model means you will be working with patients of varying ages, including seniors who may have unique rehabilitation needs and require adaptive therapy techniques to aid their recovery.QualificationsCurrent and valid New York State Physical Therapist license is a must.A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is strongly preferred to enhance clinical expertise.Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and their families, showing empathy and understanding during their recovery process.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preferably within an outpatient clinic or similar environment.Experience in home care or community-based therapy services is beneficial but not essential; we encourage new graduates with a passion for patient care to apply.Knowledge of therapeutic equipment and modalities commonly used in home settings, as well as a strong capacity for adapting rehabilitation methods to patient environments.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation package includes a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
