Responsibilities
- Provide integrated, holistic, professional nursing care to Med Surg patients in coordination with the health care team.
- Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing services that address the priority health needs of each patient.
- Education-focused nursing care that involves patients and families to help attain and maintain optimum health.
- Practice professional nursing that meets or exceeds standards outlined by Montana state Nurse Practice Acts and national nursing standards.
- Manage care for primarily adult Med Surg patients, with pediatric patients being rare.
- Collaborate with physicians, bedside clinicians, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes during the shift.

Requirements
- Active Montana RN license
- Graduate nurse from an accredited nursing college
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work nights in a Med Surg setting and participate in a travel assignment for approximately 13 weeks
- Demonstrated competence in patient and family education and in delivering patient-centered care
