Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the operations support team supporting building maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Manage and oversee the maintenance team, including skilled trades, housekeeping staff, and subcontractors.

• Investigate, plan, and implement projects assigned by the Site Manager, Maintenance Manager, or General Manager.

• Perform safe operating tours to ensure proper building operation and address any issues promptly.

• Supervise corrective, emergency, and preventative maintenance of building equipment and systems.

• Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems troubleshooting.

• Excellent interpersonal and management skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience working in a unionized environment is preferred.
