Service Technical Support

The Quality Operations Support candidate will support manufactured test equipment. Specific duties include mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for performing inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies or products. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, and/or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies. Maintains records and/or databases. Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting technicians and NPI Engineers.

Requirements:

• Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 4 years of related experience.
• This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification
• Must have strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints. Should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
• GD&T experience is a MUST. The manager indicated that this is not something that is "trainable".
• Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
