School Psychologist

Job Title & Summary School Psychologist – 2026‑2027 school year, California based. Salary: $88,000‑$120,000. Qualifications Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology Ability to work in person Proficiency in connecting with students and families and working alongside school teams Eagerness to learn, grow, and continuously develop professional expertise Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students in accordance with California Department of Education and Federal guidelines Prepare comprehensive, legally defensible written reports of assessment findings with diagnoses and specific recommendations, in accordance with State and Federal guidelines Certify pupils’ eligibility for placement in special education services, programs or classes in accordance with their individual physical, mental and emotional needs Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, following due process timelines Provide counseling services to students as needed Provide consultative support to administrators, parents, students, school‑based personnel and SPG staff on special education procedures, mental health issues, child development, student behavior, learning problems and relevant intervention strategies and recommendations Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits for employees working 30 hours or more per week, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matching Professional Benefit stipend Student Loan Pay Down Program Referral program: refer a friend in the San Francisco Bay Area to SPG and receive a $3,000 referral bonus Equal Opportunity Statement SPG Therapy & Education is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
