Swimming Pool Design & Sales Consultant
Santa Ana, CA | On-Site | Commission-Based | $125,000–$175,000+ Annual Earning Potential

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Swimming Pool Design & Sales Consultant to join our Santa Ana office. You'll meet with homeowners, design custom pool and backyard projects, and close high-ticket sales — with a steady flow of company-generated leads and top performers earning $125K–$175K+ per year in commission.

If you have a background in pool sales, or landscape/hardscape, outdoor kitchen, patio, or other home improvement sales, you already have the core skills we're looking for. Experience with Pool Studio or similar 3D design software is a strong plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Santa Ana office. Outside of scheduled site visits and client consultations, you'll be working from the office — this is not a remote or hybrid role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct in-home and on-site consultations with homeowners to understand their vision, lifestyle, and budget for a custom pool and outdoor living project
• Create custom pool designs and 3D renderings (Pool Studio experience preferred; training available)
• Guide clients from first meeting through signed contract — design presentations, material selection, and pricing
• Prepare and present detailed proposals with renderings, material options, and cost estimates
• Negotiate and close sales contracts while maintaining a strong client experience
• Build lasting client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
• Collaborate with construction and project management teams for a seamless handoff from sale to completion
• Manage your own pipeline and follow-up to meet monthly and annual sales targets

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of consultative sales experience in swimming pools, landscape/hardscape, outdoor living, or related home improvement/construction sales
• Proven track record closing high-ticket sales
• Experience conducting in-home or on-site sales consultations
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-up habits
• Ability to manage multiple active projects and prospects at once
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
• Based in or able to commute to Santa Ana, CA daily — this is not a remote position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Pool Studio, Structure Studios, or similar 3D pool/landscape design software
• Working knowledge of swimming pool construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Existing relationships within the local home builder, landscape, or real estate community
• Familiarity with outdoor living products — decking, pavers, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, lighting
