What You'll Do
As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in helping clients and project teams make informed decisions from the earliest stages of a project.
You will:
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Develop detailed cost estimates.
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Business Development, Marketing, and Operations throughout the pursuit process.
- Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
- Monitor market trends and maintain current pricing and cost data.
- Continuously improve estimating processes and best practices.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Experience with negotiated, CMAR, design-build, and hard bid projects.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
