Fleet Manager

Role Description

Zayo is seeking a Fleet Manager.

• Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet which is currently 1,300 vehicles.
• Monitoring regular maintenance on all vehicles.
• Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
• Manage FMC performance to ensure fleet reliability and availability.
• Managing vehicle licensure and registration.
• Ensuring all fleet members have proper license and vehicle documents on hand.
• Providing reports to management on fuel, lease, and maintenance spend as required by Zayo Management.
• Processing fleet related invoices according to Zayo’s GL codes.
• Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Outstanding critical thinking and decision-making process.
• Anticipation of risky business situations with deliberate and swift response.
• Some travel and access/availability to serve the needs of the business on a 24/7 basis.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, safety, or related technical discipline and/or equivalent work experience required.
• Five (5) years of fleet management experience preferred.

Requirements

• Estimated base salary range: $87,600 - $118,000 USD/annually.
• Actual compensation offered may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
• Non-sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan.
• Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
