Execute individualized speech therapy interventions designed to improve aspects of communication including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Work alongside a team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to ensure a cohesive care delivery system.

Provide education for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond the clinical environment.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring comprehensive care throughout the patient's journey.

Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and organizational requirements.

Stay updated on the latest practices in the field through continuing education and collaborative engagements.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) unless already ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all age groups, along with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Capacity to modify therapy techniques to respect and respond to diverse cultural and linguistic perspectives.

Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
