Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state credentials required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong skills in individualized instruction, classroom management, and IEP implementation
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to support multiple classrooms or settings, including traveling between buildings (for Learning Support role)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver tailored instructional plans to meet the unique needs of students in Life Skills, Autistic Support, or Learning Support classrooms
• Assess student progress and adjust strategies to promote optimal learning outcomes
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed
• Maintain accurate records, document student growth, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to maximize student potential
• Adapt to changing needs across two locations, ensuring continuity of support for Learning Support students
