PICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a highly skilled PICU Registered Nurse for a temporary-to-permanent assignment. This position offers a 13-week maximum travel assignment and requires candidates to reside more than 100 miles from the designated location.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to pediatric patients requiring critical care support.Assess and assign patient care based on acuity and needs.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care protocols.Monitor and manage high-acuity patients, including those on pressors, intubated patients, and patients undergoing sedation.Implement and adhere to sedation and titration protocols.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.QualificationsCurrent RN licensure in the state of practice.Experience working within a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or a similar setting.Comfortable managing high-acuity patient care.Familiarity with monitoring equipment and patient support systems, including Trilogy and Servo ventilators.Experience with infusion pumps and EPIC electronic health record systems.Previous experience floating to other areas within an acute care setting is a plus.This position is ideal for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in challenging situations.
