Internal Medicine Physician Outpatient Only
A mission-driven community health center in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient care to underserved patients. This role focuses on multi-generational primary care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with support from dental, mental health, and social work services.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for assigned patients
- Conduct medical evaluations, including history, physical exams, labs, and diagnostics
- Develop treatment plans and initiate appropriate orders/procedures
- Educate and counsel patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- California medical license and current DEA
- CPR certification required
- EMR experience required
- English proficiency; medical Spanish preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Provide high-quality, outpatient-focused care in Los Angeles, CA 90015 while making a meaningful impact on the health of underserved communities.
