HR Associate - Oppty to Grow into the Role! 1 Year Experience

Location: Midtown NYC - 3 Days in Office

Hands-on HR Associate role working closely with a senior HR leader. Support full-cycle HR operations on a team of 2 for a population of 50 employees.

Responsibilities

• Support the recruiting process to help provide an exceptional candidate experience
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, employee offboarding and other processes in the employee lifecycle
• Manage records and HR systems related to current and past employees
• Assist with benefits administration, including annual open enrollment
• Work closely with benefits providers, brokers and various HR vendors
• Act as the first point of contact for employees on benefits, company policies and payroll changes
• Research and analyze data to support the development of HR policies and initiatives
• Prepare reports for senior management as well as the employee population

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification is a plus
• 1–3 years of HR experience on a lean HR team
• Experience working at a company with fewer than 250 employees
• Financial services or similar industry experience required
• Strong software and analytical skills
• Outstanding attention to detail with a strong aptitude for document editing and accuracy
