Shipping CoordinatorPosition at JBS USA Shipping Coordinator ($25.00/HR) Resume required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume. Location: Lenoir, North CarolinaPurpose & Scope: We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator at our Lenoir, NC facility. This role will prepare documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for product shipmentBenefits Include Paid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) plan Better Futures Program Career development opportunitiesPrinciple Responsibilities:Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipmentLeads communications within the Shipping/Receiving area. Schedules and Coordinates both Domestic and International freight forwarder transactionsEnsures freight forwarders are selected based on company objectives for cost and deliveryMaintains shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping transaction in appropriate systemsPrepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as requiredProvide guidance to others within the shipping/receiving areaCommunicates status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnelReview open customer orders, create pick worksheets on an as needed basis to efficiently meet customer shipping schedule and satisfy the requested ship datesGenerate shipping output documents as requiredGenerate customer invoicing upon shipping. Audit waiting-to-ship reports daily to ensure all invoicing is completedCoordinate the shipping of freight by contacting appropriate fright carriersCommunicate shipping volumes and priorities closely Shipping SupervisorMaintain knowledge of current international import/export regulatory requirementsWorking Conditions:Work in Plant environment, shipping dock, cold environmentEducation: High School/GED Experience: Experience in a fast paced environment Special Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong troubleshooting skillsStrong Customer Service SkillsStrong time management and organizational skillAbility to multitaskExcellent computer skillsExperience with excelEOE/Vet/Disabled
