Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
• Work independently to assess, monitor, and coordinate care for patients awaiting or recovering from surgical procedures
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications in accordance with unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, verified through Nursys
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a high-acuity, rapid-turnover setting
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid admission or high-volume medical surgical unit
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage frequent patient transitions
