IT Operations Manager

Salary: $155,000 - 163,500 per year Requirements:

• We want 5+ years of experience in IT operations, IT support leadership, or a closely related discipline.
• We need a strong history of leading operational teams across logistics, onboarding, and/or procurement.
• We look for hands-on experience with asset lifecycle management, ideally using Oomnitza or a similar IT asset management platform.
• We expect proficiency with Jira Service Management for ticket handling, approvals, and workflow setup.
• We value experience creating dashboards and reports that support data-driven leadership decisions.
• We require strong written communication skills, including the ability to craft concise Slack updates and thorough runbooks.
• We need someone who can juggle multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
• We seek a collaborative, service-minded approach to working with internal stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience supporting employees across multiple countries and time zones.
• Preferred: familiarity with procurement workflows and SaaS contract administration.
• Preferred: background facilitating new hire orientations or employee onboarding programs.

• We lead the IT Operations team across logistics, onboarding, and procurement.
• We partner with cross-functional teams in HR, Talent, Finance, and People Programs to align on goals and deliver a seamless employee experience.
• We own and drive operational projects with support from the team, keeping initiatives on schedule and stakeholders informed.
• We define and oversee our global hardware asset management strategy across key hubs, maintaining system integrity and accurate data in our ITAM platform.
• We establish governance for recurring asset audits and lifecycle workflows, ensuring inventory standards stay high.
• We oversee end-to-end e-waste handling, making sure retired assets are tracked and disposed of in line with environmental and security requirements.
• We partner with People Programs to deliver new hire orientations that set employees up for success from day one.
• We serve as the main IT contact for hiring managers, recruiters, and employees with questions about the onboarding process.
• We own the IT procurement function, overseeing day-to-day vendor relationships, contract renewals, and purchase approvals for cost efficiency.
• We manage internal communications for the IT team through Slack bot messages and our IT email alias.
• We build and maintain dashboards in Jira and Oomnitza to surface operational health, asset data, and onboarding metrics for IT leadership.
• We document IT Operations processes by creating clear, actionable runbooks that can scale with the team.
