Description

Quality Industries is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician. 2nd shift

As a Maintenance Technician you may be required to perform tasks involved in the upkeep of the building and grounds, installation, maintenance, maintaining and repairing of hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all production machines, equipment and building.

Include but are not limited to the following, other duties may be applied:

1. 1. Perform general maintenance duties on building and machines.
   2. Be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
   3. Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures.
   4. Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses, bending conduit, Run electrical circuits up to 480V.
   5. Assists in minor carpentry and repair work.
   6. Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
   7. Performs related duties as required.
   8. Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
   9. Has the Authority and Responsibility to report non-conformity product

   2. Attention to detail
   3. Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands

   6. Able to read all precision measuring instruments
   7. Ability to read and interpret specifications

1. 1. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
   2. Completion of vocational training and/or an apprenticeship
   3. Three (3) to five (5) years at a minimum preferred

1. 1. Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
   2. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner

1. 1. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

1. 1. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists
   2. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
   3. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
   4. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

1. 1. While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; climbing stairs, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
   2. The Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
   3. Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane.
   4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

   2. Foot apparel must cover all portions of the foot

   4. Hearing protection equipment required while on the production floors
   5. Other PPE such as gloves are required based on the task at hand
