Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Chalmette, LA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients by delivering personalized, one-on-one care right in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse
Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and nutritional monitoring
Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a safe, clean living environment
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all home health care protocols

Requirements:

Active CNA certification in the state of Louisiana
Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a similar caregiving setting preferred
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a home care environment
