This position serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for maintaining highly available, secure, compliant, and operationally ready classified systems across geographically dispersed locations.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on and remote systems administration support across SIPRNET environments, including Windows Server and workstation operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, virtualization platforms, enterprise applications, security tools, and other supporting infrastructure. - Implement and maintain DISA STIGs, security configurations, and other applicable cybersecurity controls across Windows servers, workstations, and supporting systems.
- Conduct vulnerability remediation and configuration management activities using approved enterprise security and vulnerability management tools such as ACAS.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, capacity, and security events using approved monitoring, logging, and security tools.
- Perform system recovery, backup, restoration, and continuity activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Support virtualization environments, including the administration and troubleshooting of virtual machines and associated Windows operating systems.
- Support the installation, configuration, testing, and operational deployment of new SIPRNET servers, workstations, applications, systems, and security solutions.
- Perform system configuration changes in accordance with established change management and configuration management processes.
- Support Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA), DISA inspections, audits, security assessments, and other customer compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, technical baselines, standard operating procedures, account documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
- Maintain system inventories and ensure hardware and software configurations remain consistent with approved baselines.
