Onsite Lifestyle Director Location: Richmond, TX Position Type: Full Time Position Summary The Lifestyle Director is responsible for developing, implementing, promoting, and evaluating a comprehensive lifestyle program that enhances resident engagement and fosters a vibrant community culture. Responsibilities Community Programming and Resident Engagement Develop and execute an annual lifestyle and recreation calendar. Plan signature events, educational programs, wellness activities, and social gatherings. Monitor resident engagement and participation levels. Event Planning and Execution Coordinate all aspects of community events including planning, logistics, budgeting, vendors, and sponsorships. Track attendance, participation, and resident feedback. Document and photograph community events. Community Communications and Marketing Manage newsletters, website content, social media, and promotional materials. Develop event marketing campaigns and resident communications. Amenity Center and Facility Operations Oversee daily operations of the amenity center and recreational facilities. Coordinate facility reservations, rentals, and scheduling. Clubs, Committees, and Volunteer Programs Support resident clubs, committees, and interest groups. Recruit, train, and support volunteers. Serve as liaison between resident groups and management. Budget Administration and Reporting Develop and administer the annual lifestyle budget. Monitor revenues, sponsorship income, and expenditures. Prepare reports for management and the Board. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong event planning and project management skills. Strong networking and sales skills to effectively secure and maintain sponsorships with local businesses. Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field. Minimum three years of professional experience in event planning, recreation, hospitality, public relations, or community engagement. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of HOA lifestyle management experience for a large-scale, master-planned community association. Experience managing volunteers and community committees. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer. Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed. Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies). Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment. Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens. Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings. Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels. Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
