Director of Mortgage Banking — Troy, MI

Commission only. No base. No cap. You get paid on your team's production and your own.

You'd run our direct-to-consumer banking floor in Troy. Licensed Loan Officers and Loan Officer Assistants, all reporting to you. Every loan your team closes pays you an override. Every loan you close yourself pays you too. Build a bigger team, make more. Coach them better, make more. There's no ceiling written into this anywhere.

What you'd run

• A full DTC team of licensed Loan Officers and Loan Officer Assistants
• Daily production. Outbound activity, speed to contact, conversion, pull-through, pipeline health
• Pitching deals alongside your Loan Officers and LOAs. You're on live calls helping structure and win business, not watching from an office
• Live call coaching, one-on-ones, and skill development
• Hiring. You interview, you build the bench, you grow Team Leads out of your own people
• Your own pipeline alongside the team's

What you'd need

• Experience leading a mortgage sales team. Consumer direct or call center strongly preferred
• A real track record of building producers. We'll ask you to name people you developed and tell us where they ended up
• Fluency in the numbers. You should be able to look at a board and find the leak in about a minute
• Active NMLS license, or the ability to get one fast. We'll pay for it and walk you through it
• The stomach for commission-only. This role rewards people who back themselves

Ease Mortgage has about 700 team members across 43 states. We went from roughly 10 loan officers to nearly 400 without hiring a single recruiter, which means every one of those people came because someone they trusted told them to come.

We're here to help. Everybody gets a voice in how this thing gets built, including you, including your newest LOA.

Your team works both outbound and inbound leads. Right now the majority is outbound, so you're building a floor that hunts. They'll have access to 100+ wholesale lenders and around 20 correspondent investors, with pricing that doesn't cost you deals.

Compensation

Override on total team production plus your own originations. Commission only, uncapped, paid monthly.
