Staff Services Manager I job at California Correctional Health Care Services. Sacramento County, CA. Job Description and Duties Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit R01 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 hours ofPLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, The Staff Services Manager I, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Disability Management Unit (DMU), supervises, organizes, and directs the workload of the analytical staff who perform a wide variety of responsible functions in Return to Work, Reasonable Accomdations, Medical Personnel Actions (MPA), and Ergonomic Evaluations. The SSM I acts as an expert resource for the DMU and ensures that excellent customer service is provided. This position is located in Human Resources (HR), which delivers innovative programs and services that attract, cultivate, and serve a diverse, highly-qualified workforce. Working Conditions The California Correctional Health Care Services Headquarters Human Resources Office is located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi, the progressive city of Elk Grove offers a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities.
