About the Position

Job Title: RN Postpartum / Newborn Nursery Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active TX RN License (Temporary license not accepted) Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: Must have experience caring for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries. Newborn nursery experience is required. 2+ years of hospital experience is necessary. Description: The role involves providing nursing care in the postpartum and newborn nursery settings. The nurse will support mothers during their recovery process and care for newborns. Candidates should be proficient with the documentation system. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Candidates must adhere to dress code policies, including scrub color and grooming standards. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Attendance policies must be followed as outlined.
