Patient Access - Admitting Rep

Shift: Rotate Job type: Per Diem Hours: Responsible for inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department admissions. Conducts patient interviews, completes admitting forms, assigns inpatient rooms, and discharges patients. Collections of patient copays, coinsurance deductibles and cash pay accounts. Making payment arrangements when necessary. Answers patient inquiries and helps resolve patient problems and/or issues. May act as hospital receptionist and PBX operator.
