Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Foreman for our client. This job will be responsible for support in the Leadership and Management of the Company organization to be recognized as the preferred contractor, fabricator, and service provider within our targeted markets and customer base while maintaining a positive, high-performing culture and building strong relationships with all stakeholders to safely achieve the lowest risk and most profitable results

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Run Daily Huddle meetings before work starts complete with daily/weekly goals, safety awareness (JSA's), and open discussion to answer any questions or concerns.
• Participate in the Friday morning Shop Schedule meeting.
• Attend Foremen meetings.
• Send in 3-week manpower look ahead to supervisor every Monday before noon.
• Daily construction reports, including pictures identifying delays.
• Keep a running material receiving log.
• Keep updated colored-in set of prints in office.
• Field control sheets.
• Manage duct testing & reports.
• Manage inspections.
• Fire damper commissioning.
• Manage rental equipment.
• Order consumable materials.
• Manage shop material requisitions.
• Call-ins.
• Mentor our craft force.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with fellow employees.
• Always express a positive "Can Do" attitude.
• Train and develop apprentices.
• Participate in any and all foremen training programs recommended by supervisor. 
• Attend required job meetings, addressing productivity, schedule, and jobsite conditions. 
• Quality control.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• Required State License, where applicable
• 8-10 years Commercial/Industrial experience
• OSHA
• 2 years Supervisory experience preferred
• Read architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC drawings.
• Able to carry and climb ladders.
• Able to install duct overhead.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
