The role of a Behavioral Health Clinician at JFS is to provide high quality clinical services consistent with the agency mission and professional standard practices. The Behavioral Health Clinician will utilize evidence based therapeutic skills to address the client’s presenting issues and promote healing and growth. The Behavioral Health Clinician must uphold the agency’s mission and values and be a loyal ambassador of the agency.What You'll DoProvides counseling as part of the client’s treatment plan to address the needs of the client(s)Work with couples and familiesMaintains an active caseloadCollaborate with the JFS staff to address the clients’ needs and make appropriate referrals.Provides services that are of the highest standard and that are culturally relevant to the clients servedCoordinates concrete services as part of the treatment planOrganizes and facilitates groups and serves as a speaker on the agency's behalfAdvocates on behalf of clients, when appropriateServes on JFS committees and as an agency representative to appropriate community groups as assignedPerforms intake, on call, and other direct services as requiredDevelops and coordinates programs as assignedServes as consultant/supervisor to agency staff/student in areas of professional expertise as assignedComplete all administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining client records in an up to date, complete, clear and concise manner.Graduate from an accredited master's level school with course work emphasizing clinical training.LCSW, LPC, PhD, LMFTAbility to convey empathy and concern for individuals and their familiesAbility to be flexible to handle the versatility of the position and its periodic crisesMust successfully pass credentialing process which includes verification of licenses and education, screening and possible vaccination for communicable diseases like Hepatitis B and TBWhat We OfferJFS offers excellent benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, generous paid vacation days, paid parental leave and a 403B match.
