Position: Registered Nurse - Mother Infant Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Night Shift team in Mother Infant Care, focusing on postpartum couplet care, postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients. The nurse will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure optimal patient care and support for new mothers and their infants.

Shift Details

• Shift: Nights, 3x12s, 1900-0730
• No Call
• Weekends: At least every 3rd
• Holidays: As assigned
• Location: City, State

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for postpartum patients, gynecological surgery patients, and low-risk antepartum patients.
• Perform IV skills, blood draws, and foley insertion/management/removal.
• Conduct newborn assessments, including blood draws, 24-hour testing, hearing screening, glucose management, and Eat, Sleep, Console assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mother Infant Nurse.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Prior travel nurse experience is preferred.
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility.
