Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry / IMC / Step-Down (Moderate Care Unit)

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to low-acuity critical care and observation patients within a 12-bed, 24-hour cardiac and vascular moderate care unit
• Monitor and manage patients on arterial lines, PA catheters, LVADs, and up to 2–4 drips
• Care for pre-surgical and post-procedure patients requiring extended monitoring prior to discharge
• Support high patient turnover with strong organizational and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment
• Perform continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation; complete a proctored rhythm identification assessment upon unit orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of IMC, PCU, Step-Down, or related specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Demonstrated experience with PA catheters and arterial lines
• Ability to pass a proctored, free-response cardiac rhythm identification test (two attempts allowed)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Prior experience with LVAD patients or cardiovascular step-down populations
• Background in caring for pre-surgical cardiac or vascular patients
