Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting with a primarily cardiac population
• Manage patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) diagnoses
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3–4 in accordance with unit standards
• Flex to telemetry beds within the same unit to manage lower-acuity patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU or IMCU experience in a similarly sized facility
• Documented progressive care or step-down experience reflected in work history
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing cardiac drips and hemodynamically complex cardiac patients
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation in a step-down or PCU environment
