Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients with neurological and cardiac conditions
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring, identifying and responding to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
• Strong neurological nursing background required
• AHA BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down unit setting
• Experience caring for patients with complex neurological diagnoses
